Welcome to the School of Pure, Applied and Health Sciences (SPAHS). The School is one of the pioneer schools in the University, having been established in 2013 at the inception of the University. Currently, the school is home to the following departments: Department of Mathematics and Actuarial Science, Department of Physical and Biological Sciences and Department of Medical Laboratory. These departments offer a wide variety of discipline-specific and interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.
Among the most unique features of our, School is the emphasis on undergraduate student research and development of innovative interdisciplinary graduate programmes. The School teaches and performs research in the following disciplines: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics/Statistics, Physics and Health Sciences.
Our career-oriented programmes are designed to help you be what you want to be. All of our courses are taught by enthusiastic staff with extensive industry experience, expertise in research, teaching and consulting in their areas of interest.
