SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Ephantus Githui Ndirangu is a Tutorial fellow in the Department of Physical and Biological Sciences at Murang’a University of Technology where he has been since 2013. From 2017 he served as an Examination Officer in the Department of Physical and Biological Sciences until November 2020. In November 2020 he was appointed as the Chairman of the Department of Physical and Biological Sciences in acting position until July 2021. Mr. Ephantus Githui Ndirangu holds a Degree in Bachelor of Education science from Kenyatta University and Master of Science in Chemistry from Kenyatta University. He currently undertaking PhD in Chemistry in Kenyatta University. From 2013 to 2017 he served as a Department of Applied Science Coordinator. From 1998 to 2013 worked under Teacher Service Commission.
His research work is situated in field of natural products, pharmacological research and drug development from plant extracts. He an author and coauthor of a couple of papers on natural products. Currently he doing research on development drugs against Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
