SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Kennedy Muna is a lecturer in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences at Murang’a University of Technology, where he has been since 2019. He is currently serving as the Ag. COD, Medical Laboratory Sciences. Dr. Muna Holds a PhD in Medical Laboratory Sciences (Immunology) from Mount Kenya
University.
His research is focused in the fields of Medical Laboratory Sciences, with a special interest in Immunology. He is registered by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) and a member of Association of Kenya Medical Laboratory Scientific Officers (AKMLSO). In addition, he has made numerous contributions to Medical Laboratory field as a research scientist. As a scholar, he has helped in development of curriculum for Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy and Medicine in various
institutions. He is also trained as TVETA monitor/evaluator and in Leadership and Corporate Governance.
Dr. Muna has authored several publications in the field of Medical Laboratory in peer reviewed journals. He has also supervised students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
